those of you doing your shopping at rhino records can now swing by and pick up the new m0dnAr album at a swift $5 a pop. once again- 20 songs. 77 minutes. well worth it. roughly 21 cents a song, that's better than any shitty itunes package

the jun 29th show was a spectacular mess. if you missed it (especially if you're shadow maps), it's probably cos you dont love m0dnAr enough. captain bringdown broughtdown the house, mr. noise made a strong debut, and viodre led a screaming session that scared a bunch of college girls. m0dnAr opened the night with a setlist that was more rAnd0m than actually intended. while video streamed of hypnotic images, yoga, and brian fellows, a dynamic and disturbing poker game emerged. the computer fucked us and started shuffling the playlist. mics gave out, heads got smashed, keyboards thrown, and clothes torn off. it was really a site best witnessed firsthand. the video footage may be compiled later into something useful, so dont fret just yet....oh man i was drunk.
the setlist, i think..
1. booger boys in snow piss bliss
2. nothing at all
3. vagina spaceship
4. what goes on in jason bereza's head
5. robert rodriguez/ i love the night life
6. works in phono
(not played)- fried fucked and tender
an upcoming show featuring Kouhei Matsunaga (who recently released a split cd with merzbow on tigerbeat6), members of Borbetomagus (avant-jazz legends), and m0dnAr (our favorite digitrashed versificators) will be happening september 1st and will be the first in a series of events brought to you by the Hudson Valley Experimental Arts Society. The show may also be recorded for a limited edition cd, so shout lots of shit during m0dnAr's set and then buy a cd to hear yourself ('you suck' is always a classic, or may we suggest 'freebird'). details as they come in.
