Rome Was Built in a Day is finally all in the same place; on my computer. I just need to fancy it up a dab and then throw it on the hot market for your little grubby consumer paws to salivate over. if you like it, so do we. if you hate it, just remember: it may not be the best but you take what you can get. subtle political undertones, homoeroticism, sloth, religious discovery; a concept album. one buck says you wont buy our six dollar cd!
www.m0dnAr.com is finally coming into its own as a real website. it's not just an mp3.com link anymore. check it out.
m0dnAr have submitted a song to an upcoming cd compiled by kouhei matsunaga that may see the light of day if it ever gets finished and a copy gets sent back from japan. m0dnAr are also involved with the HVEXAS benefit compilation. If your experimental band or artist hasn't submitted yet, do so. Space is limited.
no shows planned yet- we're mostly just involved in our various projects since they seem to be making us as much of a living as putting on shows does. fresh off the heels of Rome, we're taking a stab at the next one on the burner, whatever that may be.
Sometime m0dnAr contributer Evan Leeds made his debut at NY's infamous Tonic on the 21st with Breast Fed Yak (formerly known as controlled bleeding) and HVEXAS alums Borbetomagus put on what has been said by the hardcore fans in the audience to be one of the best performances of their career. kudos.

"Rome Was Built in a Day" is the name of the new independent m0dnAr album. I dont know exactly when it will be completely finished, but it's mostly there. The idea was to write, construct, produce, and record an album in 24 hours lacksadaisically under the theme of "mediocrity hyped." As close as we could, we accomplished this task with full swinging dicks intact. It is an engaging mostly vocal album that will tingle your pop sensibilities and pry open your lazy eye. more updates as they come.
m0dnAr and mr. noise may also do a mini-tour with several opposite records freejazz/grind/experimental guys under the wings of HVEXAS. There is also talk of upcoming shows at Bard College, and maybe even another Electrocliché Beta Test for the rollerskating fans.
P.O.P.E designs has also volunteered to design m0dnAr T-shirts, which may have some official release (or more likely, they'll just be cool things that I'll be wearing). Dunno when a real website will be up. Hopefully soon. In the meantime, true believers, we must not repeat.
