for those of you that missed it, Tom Henry, longtime m0dnAr collaborator Evan Leed and Free Jazz icon Mark Marinoff played a set last night at the Children's Media Project that was incredible, with a special video accompaniment by Leed. other performers of the night included Jazzkammer (from Norway), Howard Seltzer (of Boston), and local pogus heads If, Bwana. all in all a great show. thanks to those who attended

May 15th, at the Root 9 Collective Art space
A Bitshift bash
(most likely featuring all or most of the below)

- m0dnAr
- low tide (vaugely like Bengeorge7 if you've seen them, from southern CT)
- axiomatic (mostly synthpop, one of the same members as low tide)
- neeb
- the lasers (like anal cunt doing digital hardcore: screamy, fast,
distorted and pure fun)
- hnatiw
- Siokaos (experimental soundscapes, laptop with pedals)
- /dev/null
- tyler (reminds me of Lackluster: simple pretty laptop songs)
- alex smith (amazing electric guitar solos)
- tapered ankle (I haven't hear them, but I think they are mostly acoustic)
- spookyhorse (wierd, dark, lots of casio keyboards)

By car or bus, take Route 9 through Hadley, from NoHo or Amherst. Kinda
close to the Coolidge bridge and Peking Garden there is that Shell
station... The Root 9 Collective house is directly across the street...
Yellow with a huge blue and pink banner. Park in back if you can, or else on
the street. Take the wooden steps on the side of the house all the way up to
the third floor.
