the solo sets at the cubbyhole coffehouse went incredibly well. we want to thank everybody who came out on july 17th for the great show. also mad props to those who came out to see the excellent Government Alpha show @sixmohonk July 22nd (which also featured m0dnAr regular evan leed). hopefully both will mean other great things coming up. one show we do know for certain is that m0dnAr will be opening for two noise gods- "triple rrron" Emil Beauliel from Lowell and providence's Prurient- somewhere in the area. likely new paltz. September 17th. and don't forget to grab some M83/ Ulrich Schanusss tickets for september 14th. neither have anything to do with m0dnAr, but schanuss is one of the better acts making modern electronic shoegazer and M83 is simply the best electronic act out there right now.

a smile children did a three piece performance; timh tom and john m0dnAr on the top of the stairs at ocean city, MD earlier this month. hopefully it will be reiterated somewhere on stage later. cos it has to be seen to be believed. also, there were numerous spottings of "the captain." who the fuck is this guy? more details as they come in....
as well, m0dnAr's now infamous performance on WVKR's tiny red dragons is a contagious release. if you see the elusive Jeff Beardo around, hound him for one. features such hits as "Shotput at the Center of the Earth," "Anything Specific," "38," and "Sex With Grandma."
m0dnAr will hopefully be gearing up for more projects soon. those of you who didnt submit to the electro comp get on the fucking ball! and the hvexas local comp! what the fuck is wrong with you people? free exposure!
The Remissive is also compiling a release featuring some unreleased versificator stuff, some new stuff, and a two brand new covers of m0dnAr's "kerri fire tampon now" including the awsome "john kerry fire tampon now"
and if you havent picked up a copy of timh m0dnAr's "Reclaim the Beats" you are missing out on the mix of the century. radio soulwax and freelance hellraiser are put to shame on this intense two disk melody miscegenation affair
